This will be Jan Bárta’s third season competing for Team NetApp. He is one of the riders who have developed considerably as part of Team NetApp. He proved his qualities as a time-trial specialist most recently by winning his second silver medal in a row at the Czech Championships, as well as placing second in the Tour de l’Ain’s prologue. Consequently, Jan is also a good general classification rider at moderately difficult tours, as demonstrated by his third-place finish overall at the Tour of Britain. As an aggressive rider, he feels comfortable being a part of breakaway groups and distinguished himself in that way during a stage of the Tour de Suisse, among others.
